It’s been a few miserable weeks for the Gold Coast weather-wise… but never fear – the sun is now here.
After what feels like a never-ending period of rain, which included a one in 30-year dumping to wrap up March followed by constant drizzle to kick off April, the bright burning ball of fire in the sky is back.
The rain has finally cleared on the Gold Coast today, and we’re being told to expect a whole weekend of tip-top conditions FINALLY.

The Bureau’s forecasting three straight days at least of sunshine only, paired with delicious near 30-degree temps.
Into next week we can expect ‘mostly’ sunny conditions, which is still good news. Maybe a couple of clouds around, no big deal.
It comes as Council begins the mammoth task of cleaning up our beaches, following this week’s episode of wild weather.
There were some minor scarping issues around Narrowneck and Burleigh, which crews should be able to fix within a day.
Some beaches were closed again today, with hazardous surf conditions still around.
They’re expected to be reopened tomorrow, but Council lifeguards will confirm that around 7.00 am.
