Gold Coast Suns have handed Harley Bennell a suspended three-match ban and $5000 fine.
Bennell has already missed two AFL games since being stood down by the club after images emerged of him with an alleged illicit substance in 2013.
However, Bennell – who will also undergo an off-field program drawn up by the club and their chief medical officer – will be considered for an AFL return next week in round 17.
