Suns reeling after losing second key player

The Gold Coast Suns have lost another key player, after ending their 2016 season with a loss over the weekend.

The side suffered a 23-point defeat at the hands of Port Adelaide in front of a home crowd at Metricon Stadium on Saturday.

On Thursday last week Jaeger O’Meara announced he planned to leave, prompting Suns officials to say they expected an accepted deal for a trade to be completed.
