The mercury may be beginning to drop as autumn kicks into gear, but all signs are pointing to an endless summer at Robina Town Centre with a pop-up Surf Life Saving Club now open in centre.
To coincide with the 2019 Queensland Surf Life Saving Championships which kick off this weekend, shoppers can take part in a series of surf-related activations at the pop-up, as well as greet key members from the surf life saving community.
Locals will be taught essential beach skills such as how to spot a rip; they can test their surf knowledge to win a share in prizes; and experience what it’s like to be caught in a rip using the latest VR technology on weekends from 11.00am – 3.00pm.

There will also be free Selfies by the Shoreline on Thursday evenings, with a photographer on hand to take the perfect shot complete with beach-inspired get-up and props.
Shoppers will also have the opportunity to give back and donate to Surf Life Saving Queensland, which will help to ensure local beaches are a safe place to swim.
The Robina Surf Life Saving Club has popped up ahead of SLSQ’s 2019 Queensland Youth State Championships, which kick off this Friday, with around 1600 young surf sport athletes set to compete at Burleigh. While the state’s best are set to hit Broadbeach from 15th – 17th March for the 2019 Queensland Senior State Championships.
