THE final weekend of the 2014 Surfers Paradise Festival will finish with a big beautiful bang this long weekend.
Queensland’s best pyros will go head-to-head in the skies for SeaFire, where more than six thousand firework shells will be launched from a barge out to sea on Friday April 25 from 7pm – 8pm.
The event will fill the skies with colour and sparkle and will be choreographed to energetic, themed music beats.

The hottest indie bands and artists will then converge on Appel and Alison Street for the One Way Street Party between 12pm and 9pm on Saturday.
Surfers Paradise come alive with some of Australia’s hottest established and emerging musical acts, artists and brand new for this year, sustainable fashion show Undress Runways taking place from 3pm – 6pm.
Once the sun has set on Saturday, Neal Shannon Park will boast a giant screen for the Shorts in Paradise Film Festival (SIPFest) where a hand-picked selection of some of the country’s finest short films will take to the big screen for.
Punters can grab a bite from any of the renowned eateries that line the streets and settle in for an evening of fantastic festival films from 7.30pm – 9pm.
