IMAGINE still being in primary school, but getting the chance to meet your hero…

Eight Vegemite SurfGroms are on their way to the Gold Coast as VIP guests to the Quiksilver Pro this Saturday, where they will get a chance to meet and surf with some of the professionals competing.

The kids, who are part of the national junior surfing program for 5-12 year olds, each entered a photo into the Nikon Coolpix competition and were chosen as the best.

They will also have access to the best seats in town on the VEGEMITE Mightiest Seat on the Beach, which will provide an uninterrupted, elevated view of the competition area.

More than 24,000 children across Australia have enjoyed the program since it started in October, 2011.
