Suspended Ipswich Mayor Andrew Antoniolli has spent the night in the watchhouse after being arrested by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
The 47-year-old was taken into custody on Tuesday evening after allegedly breaching bail.
“A man from Brassall was arrested and charged this evening with a breach of bail offence by the Crime and Corruption Commission,” a statement reads.

The suspended Mayor was arrested earlier this month for fraud offences and released on conditional bail.
“It will be alleged in court that the man breached one of those bail conditions,” the CCC said.
He is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
