AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a tattoo studio, north of Brisbane, was destroyed by fire.
Dozens of firefighters were called to the scene on South Pine Road in Brendale just after midnight, to find the building engulfed in flames.
The fire was extinguished quickly, however caused extensive damage to the business with some neighbouring properties sustaining smoke and water damage.

16 vehicles and 44 personnel worked to contain the fire and managed to keep a majority of the damage to the point of origin.
A neighbouring business suffered minor damage, but an additional 14 units were saved.

Preliminary investigations indicate the blaze may have been deliberately lit.
The tattoo studio is reportedly owned by Rebels bikie Little Mick Kosenko.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the vicinity at the time of the fire or have further information to come forward.
