A SYDNEY boxer has died in hospital following injuries he sustained in a fight just four days ago.
Davey Browne Jr’s family has made the heartbreaking decision to turn off his life support following injuries he sustained in in an IBF super-featherweight regional title fight at Ingleburn RSL club on Friday night.
The fight was against Carlo Magali of the Philippines.

The 28-year-old father was knocked out 30 seconds from the end of the final round of the 12-round contest and although he initially regained consciousness, he then collapsed from his stool and was rushed to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition suffering from brain injuries.
Minister for Sport Stuart Ayres said the Combat Sports Authority will cooperate fully with the NSW Police in their investigation.
Police have confirmed a post-mortem will be conducted and a report prepared for the coroner.
Browne leaves behind two children.
