Sydney businessman charged with over $1.8 million worth of fraud

A Sydney businessman has been charged with stealing more than $1.8 million.

The 47-year-old was arrested at a home in Bondi on Tuesday and charged with 31 fraud offences.

He is accused of making and using false documents for financial advantage and dealing with the proceeds of crime.

Police allege the man was part of a fraudulent investment superannuation scheme.

He was refused bail to appear Waverly Local Court today.
