Sydney home firebombed in targeted attack

Residents of a Sydney home have miraculously escaped uninjured after their house was firebombed in a ‘targeted attack’ this morning.

The frightening incident occurred just before 1.00am on Phyllis Crescent at Guildford.

Police said the force of the blast burnt the exterior of the home, causing significant damage, and that the intense heat caused the lounge room window to smash.

Luckily, the residents of the home managed to escape the blaze uninjured.

A crime scene has been established with police now looking to speak to a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as being aged in his early 20s. He was last seen wearing a hooded jumper with a white motif/symbol on the pocket area, dark pants and dark coloured shoes.
