Sydney shop targeted by teen robbers
Police are investigating a supermarket robbery in Sydney’s south west.
A 54-year-old woman was behind the counter of a small shop on Hillcrest Street in Wiley Park when four teenagers walked in at about 7:35pm on Monday night.
One was armed with a knife and as they approached the counter they threatened the woman while demanding cash and cigarettes.
She gave them some money and cigarettes and the teens ran from the store.
Police were called and a crime scene established while further investigations are carried out by Campsie detectives.
