Sydney siege inquest to hold ‘secret hearings’

SECRET hearings into last year’s fatal Sydney siege will be held next month.

The inquest will examine national security issues, with evidence to be presented away from the glare of the public and media.

The opening address by counsel assisting the inquiry, Jeremy Gormly SC, will be held on November 18.
