A TEACHER who was busted filming up the skirts of students at a top Sydney private school, has escaped jail time.
Robert Emmett, who is the son of NSW judge Arthur Emmett, pleaded guilty to three counts of filming a person’s private parts and one count of possessing child abuse material after he admitted to filming up the skirts of three 14-year-old female students.
Reports suggest police also seized a computer hard drive containing 9,517 images and 362 videos of child abuse material from the 38-year-old’s home.

The former St Andrew’s Cathedral School teacher will serve his two-year sentence in the community after being handed an Intensive Correction Order in court on Thursday.
