Sydney woman accused of high range drink driving with baby in the car

A woman is accused of driving drunk with her baby in the car in Sydney’s north.

The 34-year-old woman was allegedly stopped for a random breath test on Barcoo Street, Roseville on Friday afternoon.

The woman provided a positive road side breath test and was arrested and taken to Chatswood Police Station. She had a nine-month-old girl strapped in in the back seat.

Police will allege at the station the woman underwent a breath test analysis which returned a reading of 0.216.

The woman was issued a court attendance notice for high-range PCA and will appear at Hornsby Local Court on 1 December 2016.

The woman’s licence has been suspended.
