Sydney woman lucky to be alive after 10m balcony fall

A Sydney woman is lucky to be alive after falling 10 metres from a balcony in Dulwich Hill early on Monday morning.

Police and emergency services were called to a unit block on New Canterbury Road, around 12.20am, after a 27-year-old woman fell.

She suffered a broken collar bone, broken ribs, and an ear injury.

She has been taken to RPA Hospital and is understood to be in a stable condition.

A crime scene has been established and inquiries continue.
