A MAN has been stabbed at a state school in Brisbane this afternoon.
The man, aged in his 40s, is alleged to have been wounded in the face, chest and hand at Wynnum North State school about 2.45pm.
Original reports suggested the victim was a teacher at the school, however police have confirmed that it was not Wynnum State school employee.

Local media are reporting that the man was heard yelling “shut the gate, lock the gate. We need to call police” just before the attack.
He is in a serious condition at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
A man has been taken into custody over the stabbing.
It’s believed the two men involved are known to each other.
