A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after an alleged stolen car crashed on Brisbane’s southside, resulting in seven people needing to be treated by paramedics.
Police spotted the alleged stolen black Holden Cruze on Ipswich Road in Annerley just before 9.30pm last night.
Officers followed the car, however it allegedly sped off when the driver saw police, before running into the back of a car which was stopped at lights at the intersection of Ipswich Road and Waterton Street.

The stolen car has then rolled before coming to rest up against a power pole
The 17-year-old driver and his three passengers – another 17-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl, were caught at the scene.
The teens were treated by paramedics for various injuries, including neck and pelvic injuries, before being taken to hospital.
The driver and passengers in the other vehicle were also hospitalised after suffering minor abdominal and neck injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
