Teen seized in dramatic citizens arrest at Pacific Pines

Residents in Pacific Pines have staged a dramatic citizens’ arrest after a teenager crashed his car into a house.

Initial information suggests the 16-year-old and his passenger, also 16, crashed their car through a fence and into the patio of the home around 8.30pm on Monday.

The pair allegedly tried to flee but were detained by neighbours nearby, who held the duo until police arrived.
