Teen boy charged with rape, producing child exploitation material

A teenage boy from South Australia has been charged with rape and producing child exploitation material.

The 17-year-old was arrested by detectives from the Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team yesterday.

He was charged with two counts of rape, one count of producing child exploitation material, and two counts of possessing child exploitation material.


Police say it’s alleged that some of the children depicted in the material were under 14 years of age.

The boy has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on Tuesday, 20 June.
