Teen boys charged over Gold Coast stolen car crash
Two young boys have been charged after allegedly crashing a stolen car in Labrador in the early hours of this morning.
The boys, aged 14 and 15, are accused of stealing the vehicle from a home on Harris Street around 1.30am.
They didn’t get too far though, with a Queensland Police spokesperson telling myGC they lost control on a nearby roundabout along Muir Street.
The stolen vehicle then ploughed into a Ford Ranger, which had been parked on the side of the road.
The teens were arrested and have since been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and enter premises and commit indictable offence.
Police said investigations are ongoing.
