Teen charged after man stabbed through car window in Logan

A teenager has been charged after a man was stabbed through the window of his car in Logan last week.

Police will alleged that a man and woman were driving in their car and were followed by people in a white Holden Commodore around 8.30pm on September 23.

Once the car turned into Darlington Drive, Yarrabilba, two men allegedly got out of the car armed with baseball bats and approached the vehicle.

It will then be alleged that one of the men stabbed a 33-year-old through the passenger window of the car.

The man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for non-life-threatening treatment.

An 18-year-old man from Munruben has since been charged with wounding, assault occasioning bodily harm and entering premises with intent to commit an indictable offence.

He’ll face Beenleigh court on October 30, 2019.

Police say investigations are ongoing.
