A TEENAGER has been charged over a violent carjacking and police pursuit in the NSW Shoalhaven region
Detectives investigating an alleged carjacking and pursuit in the state’s Shoalhaven region have arrested and charged a teenager.
Two males attended a home on Shirley Street at Bomaderry just before 10pm on Tuesday (14 July 2015), where they allegedly confronted a 19-year-old man.

The man was allegedly threatened with an iron club and forced to drive the pair to Park Road at East Nowra.
It is alleged that one of the males threatened the driver with a knife and ordered him out of the car, before the pair drove away. Police were contacted a short time later.
Officers from Shoalhaven Local Area Command patrolled the area and attempted to stop the car on Old Southern Road; however, the driver failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated.
A short time later the car stopped on Moresby Street and the pair fled.
An investigation into the incident was launched and police have been conducting inquiries in an attempt to locate those allegedly involved.
About 11.30am today (Friday 17 July 2015), a 15-year-old boy was arrested in Bomaderry and taken to Nowra Police Station.
The teen was charged with robbery while armed with an offensive weapon and granted conditional bail to appear at a children’s court on Thursday 6 August 2015.
Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
