A teenager has had his charge of grievous bodily harm upgraded to unlawful striking causing death following the alleged assault and death of a 56-year-old man at Goodna on June 22.
It was alleged the 56-year-old man was walking on Albert Street at around 1:30pm when he was punched in the back of the head by the 19 year old walking in the opposite direction. T
he victim fell to the ground and hit his head.

The man passed away at the Ipswich Hospital on July 15 as a result of his injuries.
A 19-year-old man Redbank Plains appeared in the Ipswich Court today where his charge was formally upgraded to one count of unlawful striking causing death.
He is due to re-appear in court on November 25.
