A TEENAGE boy has been charged over a crash which claimed the life of a man in the NSW Riverina Region over the weekend.
Around 7.30am on Sunday, emergency services were called to Wee Jasper Road at Bombowlee, after reports a vehicle had left the road and hit an embankment.
The driver, a 17-year-old boy, was uninjured, however the passenger, a 40-year-old man, was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

The driver was taken to Wagga Wagga Hospital for scans and mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established at the scene and following investigations, the 17-year-old boy was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for dangerous driving occasioning death and negligent driving occasion death.
His licence was also suspended.
The teen is due to appear at a Children’s Court on Monday 23 July.
