A teenage boy has been charged after allegedly making 74 bomb hoaxes to education facilities across the nation.
The 17-year-old was taken into custody in Victoria on Thursday following an extensive joint investigation.
The bomb hoaxes were allegedly made to various education facilities throughout Victoria, NSW and South Australia between May 2016 and April 2017.

The teen was charged with 74 offences, including nine counts of making a bomb hoax in Victoria, 13 counts of using a carriage service to make a hoax threat in NSW and 49 counts of using a carriage service to make a hoax threat in South Australia.
The teen appeared in court yesterday and was bailed to 26 June.
