A teenage girl has been charged over the horrific stabbing of a woman in Whalan early this morning.
About 2.15am, emergency services were called to a home on Toricelli Avenue following reports of a fight.
Upon arrival, officers found an 18-year-old woman with two stab wounds to her chest.

It’s alleged the woman was stabbed with a piece of glass during an altercation with a 16-year-old girl.
The injured woman was rushed to Westmead Hospital where she is currently undergoing surgery.
The teen girl was arrested nearby and charged with reckless wounding and affray.
She was granted strict conditional bail to appear at a Children’s Court on Monday 17 July.
