A TEENAGE girl is fighting for her life in hospital and an elderly couple have been left with multiple injuries after another horror, high speed crash on the Gold Coast.
Police say they first detected a red Hyundai excel travelling at excessive speeds south on Bundall Road near Crombie Street around 8.30pm on Sunday.
They attempted to intercept the vehicle, however the 18-year-old driver failed to stop.

It’s alleged she sped off, crossed onto the wrong side of the road and smashed head-on into an oncoming car.
The young female driver of the offending vehicle was critically injured and rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
She is recovering from undergoing surgery to a serious head injury.
The 73-year-old male driver of the second vehicle received minor injuries and his 77-year-old female passenger received multiple broken bones.
They were also taken to hospital by ambulance. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
