Teen driver killed in crash with power pole

A TEENAGE boy has been killed after the car he was driving collided with a power pole in Brisbane.

The accident happened on Kamarin Street at Manly West just before 3.30am on Sunday.

Sadly, the 17-year-old boy behind the wheel of the car was unable to be saved.


Police confirmed the young driver was pronounced dead before he could be taken to hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
