Teen arrested and charged with raping 13-year-old girl he met in a park

A TEENAGE boy has been charged with raping a 13-year-old girl he’d allegedly met at a park in Perth’s south.

The 19-year-old is alleged to have first met two 13-year-old girls in a park at Baldivis, 46km south of the CBD.

The trio allegedly exchanged social media details which the teen is accused of later using to message the girls.

Following a series of online conversations, the two girls allegedly went to visit the teen at his home in Baldivis.

It is here where it’s alleged the 19-year-old raped one of the girls between August 14 and 17 this year.

Following a protracted investigation, the teen was arrested and charged with one count of sexual penetration of a child aged 13-16, attempted sexual penetration of a child aged 13-16 and breaching protective bail conditions.

He was due to appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
