Teen girl fighting for life after being trampled by cow
A teenage girl has been airlifted to hospital after being trampled by a cow on a property near the Queensland and NSW border.
Emergency crews were called to a location off Texas Yelarbon Road in Smithlea just after midday following reports of a “serious animal incident”.
Upon arrival, they found a female aged in her late teens suffering abdomincal, chest, back and neck injuries.
She was treated on scene before being airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC the girl was transported in a critical condition.
