Teen girl sexually assaulted by man at sold-out music concert

Police are on the hunt to identify a man after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted during a music concert at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne.

The sickening assault is alleged to have occurred during a sold-out concert on August 6.

In a statement released by Victoria Police today, officers said the man is believed to have approached the teenage girl during the concert and sexually assaulted her.

They have released an image of a man who they believe will be able to help with investigations.

He is described as being about 162cm tall, with a medium build, brown short, wavy hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion.

Detectives are also looking into whether the man may have approached other girls at the concert, or at another concert at the same venue on the following night.

Anyone who believes they may have had involvement with the man or witnessed any other incidents is urged to contact police.
