A young woman has been terrorised after being repeatedly punched, bitten and choked in a horrifying domestic-related attack at a home in NSW.
The 18-year-old woman was subjected to hours of harrowing abuse after arriving at a house in Lake Heights on Sunday.
“In yesterday’s early hours, an 18-year-old woman was allegedly punched to the head and body, bitten and choked by an 18-year-old man, with the assault continuing over several hours,” police said in a statement.

A 39-year-old woman who lives at the home heard the assault taking place and entered the room, allowing the seriously injured teen to break free and seek help.
Her attacker then turned on the older woman, punching and kicking her repeatedly before she also managed to escape.
Emergency services rushed the 18-year-old woman to Wollongong Hospital suffering a fractured nose, suspected fractured jaw and injuries to her cheeks and eye sockets
The 18-year-old man was arrested after returning to the home around 8.00pm last night.
He was charged with cause grievous bodily harm with intent, take/detain with intent, choke with intent to commit serious indictable offence, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The man was refused bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court later today.
