Teen girls caught selling ecstasy to schoolies

TWO teenage girls have been charged after they were caught selling ecstasy pills to schoolies in Surfers Paradise.

Just after midnight Saturday, police raided an Orchid Avenue hotel room where they allegedly found a quantity of ecstasy tablets.

Two 17-year-old girls from Ipswich were arrested and charged with possessing a dangerous drug.


One of the teens were also charged with supplying the dangerous drug.

They are both due to face Southport Magistrates Court at a later date.

In all, 19 schoolies were arrested on 23 offences during the first night. A further 42 were issued with liquor infringement notices.
