A teenage boy has been hospitalised after being bitten by a snake at a home on the Gold Coast.
The teen was bitten on the foot by the slithering serpent at a house in Tallebudgera just before 8.00pm on Friday.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Robina Hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the boy was thankfully transported in a stable condition.
It was not immediately known what type of snake was involved in the incident.
