Teen hospitalised after pushbike stack

A TEENAGER has been taken to hospital after crashing his pushbike in the Gold Coast hinterland this afternoon.

It’s understood the 14-year-old boy was riding along Nerang-Murwillumbah Road, Advancetown when he crashed around 1.25pm.

An ambulance spokesperson said the young teen appeared to have come off his bike while travelling at high speed.

He was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital with a suspected shoulder injury.
