Teen in serious condition after Gold Coast stabbing

A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being stabbed in Helensvale in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency crews were called to a location on Mildura Drive just after 4.00am, following reports of an assault.

Upon arrival, they found an 18-year-old man suffering abdominal injuries.


He was treated at the scene by critical care paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.

A Queensland Police spokesperson told myGC police are investigating the circumstances around the incident.

No one has been taken into custody at this stage.
