A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after falling from a balcony on the glitter strip in the early hours of this morning.
Paramedics, including Critical Care and the High Acuity Response Unit, were called to a location on Orchid Avenue in Surfers Paradise just before 1.00am.
Upon arrival, they found the teen suffering significant injuries.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC the boy is believed to have fallen around 8 metres from a balcony.
He was treated at the scene by critical care paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
