Teen killed, 11yo girl airlifted to hospital after horror Qld crash
A teenage boy is dead and four others, including an 11-year-old girl, have been injured following a horror crash in the coal mining town of Moranbah this morning.
The accident happened just before 4.30am, when a car rolled on Moranbah Access Road, near the Moranbah Airport.
The driver of the car, a 17-year-old male, died as a result of critical injuries sustained in the rollover.
Four others were transported to Moranbah Hospital.
An 11-year-old girl has since been airlifted to Townsville Hospital with serious head injuries.
