Teen killed after car ‘ripped apart’ in horror crash
A TEENAGE girl has been killed and six other people injured in a horror high-speed crash in Melbourne’s southeast.
Police said three cars were travelling north along Stud Road at Rowville when they collided about 12pm on Sunday.
Two of the vehicles were reportedly seen racing each other moments before the horrific collision near Kelletts Road.
The force of the crash was so great, one vehicle, a white sedan, was torn in two on impact.
A 17-year-old girl from Narre Warren died at the scene. Police say she was a passenger in one of the cars.

Ambulance Victoria said six other people were treated by paramedics at the scene before being transported by road ambulance to Dandenong Hospital.
It’s understood they’re being treated for a range of injuries and are all in a stable condition.
Police say the exact cause of the collision is yet to be determined.
All three drivers — a 27-year-old Pakenham man, a 19-year-old woman from Narre Warren and a 26-year-old Cllyde North man — are assisting police with their investigation.
