Teen killed, mate injured in sickening crash
A TEENAGE boy has been killed and his mate injured in a horror single-vehicle crash in South Australia.
It happened at Tumby Bay, on the Eyre Peninsula about 4.40am on Saturday .
The two 18-year-olds were travelling along Bratten Road in a Holden sedan when it’s understood the driver lost control of the car and rolled it at speed.
The sedan was ripped apart in the sickening smash and left barely recognisable after rolling multiple times.
Incredibly, the driver somehow survived and was airlifted to a hospital in Adelaide with serious injuries.
Sadly, his mate who was a passenger in the car was killed on impact.

The 18-year-old is the 46th person to lose their life on South Australian roads so far this year.
The road toll at the same time last year was just 29.
