Teen motorcyclist killed after colliding with car in Noosa

Investigations are underway after a teenage motorcyclist was killed in a nasty crash with a car on the Sunshine Coast.

According to police, the Suzuki motorbike was travelling north along Greenridge Pinbarren Road at Cooran around 9pm last night, when it collided head-on with a Subaru Forrester station wagon.

Despite CPR being performed, the 17-year-old local boy died at the scene.

The driver of the Forrester, a 29-year-old man, managed to escape uninjured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing for anyone with dashcam vision or further information to contact police.
