A TEENAGER has spent the night in hospital after being mowed down by a car on the Gold Coast.
He and two other people were struck on the corner of Maudsland and Bignells Roads at Maudsland during the early hours of Saturday morning.
Queensland Ambulance said paramedics were called to a vehicle and pedestrian incident at 2.48am.

Paramedics assessed three patients, including a teenage boy with serious head and leg injuries.
He was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The two other patients declined transport.
