Teen savagely stabbed in “altercation” on suburban Sydney’s street

A teenage boy has been stabbed multiple times in the torso and legs during an apparent street fight in western Sydney.

The 17-year-old was found with multiple stab wounds on Kerrs Road in Lidcombe at around 11.10pm last night.

The teen was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.

Police said early investigations suggest the teen was involved in “an altercation with a large group of males who fled the scene”.

A section of Kerrs Road was sealed off and declared a crime scene while detectives and forensic police combed the area for clues.
