Teen stabbed to death in Sydney

UPDATE: Three people have been charged after a teenager was stabbed to death in Sydney’s southwest on Monday night.

Bankstown Detectives, together with detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad have now charged three males aged 17, 18 and 20 with murder.

The men aged 18 and 20 have been refused bail and will appear in Bankstown Local Court today.

The 17-year-old has been refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Children’s Court today.

EARLIER: A teenager has died after a stabbing in southwest Sydney on Monday night.

Police were called to Marco Avenue in Panania around 6.00pm where they found the 18-year-old with several stab wounds.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushed to Liverpool Hospital.

He died a short time later.

Police have launched an investigation and are urging anyone who may have information to come forward.
