Teen stabbed in head, neck in frenzied attack

A TEENAGE boy is in a critical condition, fighting for life in hospital after being stabbed in the head and neck during a frenzied attack at a home in Sydney’s west.

Police and paramedics were called to the Boronia Street home in South Granville shortly after 9am.

They arrived to find a 17-year-old boy with multiple stab wounds to his back, chest, head and neck.


The teen was treated by a team of paramedics at the scene before being rushed to Westmead Hospital.

Police have confirmed the boy is in a critical condition.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately known.

A large manhunt is underway to find the teen’s attacker.

Police, with the help of the Dog Squad and police helicopter, are searching the area around Horlyck Reserve.
