Teen stabbed with scissors by man on Sydney train
A young teenage boy has been stabbed with a pair of scissors at a train station in Sydney’s west.
According to police, officers are hunting down a man, aged in his 60’s, who is believed to be responsible for the attack.
The 14-year-old boy was stabbed around midnight on a train at Doonside Railway Station.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushing to Westmead Children’s Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Witnesses said the offender fled the scene.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 60s, with grey receding hair and a grey short beard.
