Teen suspects named in murder of Australian and girlfriend in Canada

Teens have been named as suspects in the murder of an Australian man and his girlfriend in Canada.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police yesterday named two teenagers yesterday as persons of interest for the double homicide, as well as the murder of a middle-aged man found lying near when the teen’s car was set alight on Friday.

Kam McLeod,19, and Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, were originally believed to be missing, though that has now changed.

The pair are known as best friends who worked together at Walmart.

It’s understood they were trying to raise money to go on a working adventure together.

A massive manhunt is now underway to try and find the pair, who were last seen driving more than 2,000 kilometres away from the murder site.

Police have described the pair as dangerous, and urged people not to approach them.
