Teen tradie dies after horror worksite accident
A 17-year-old apprentice tradie has died after being crushed on his first day on the job at a worksite in Adelaide.
The teenage carpenter was critically injured when a timber wall frame fell on top of him on a residential building site on Fisher Street in Fullarton around 11am on Tuesday.
It’s understood it was the teen’s first day on the job.
Paramedics worked frantically to stabilise the 17-year-old at the scene.
He was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening head injuries.
Sadly, he passed away this morning.
