Teenage boy stabbed twice during violent altercation

A teenager has been stabbed during a violent assault in Sydney’s west.

Just after 8.30pm Saturday 3 October 2015, emergency services were called to Mumford Street, Cabramatta West, following reports of an assault.

Police from Cabramatta Local Area Command attended and located a 17-year-old boy suffering two stab wounds to his abdomen.


He was treated by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital for surgery.

A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic officers.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to come forward.
